With the success of the Unity Summit in Minneapolis, AAUC is off to Sacramento! On October 7th, 2026, non-profits, immigrant communities, educational institutions, faith groups, and electeds will gather to share their most pressing priorities ahead of the midterm election.
The Summit will feature a marketplace-style exhibit hall where organizations will host tables and present their top issues directly to attendees — how those issues affect their community, and what they believe should be done about it. We will hear from not just from the AANHPI community but from non-impacted community allies as well.
The day also features keynote speakers and panel discussions on advocacy and coalition building, including a session on the Minnesota Model for building trust and cooperation across cultures and sectors. Tabling sessions, a working lunch with cultural entertainment, and a closing panel focused on turning the day’s conversations into shared action round out the agenda. The Unity Summit aims to leave every participant with concrete next steps and new cross-sector relationships heading into the midterm elections and beyond.
